If you will be clearing out closets and drawers ahead of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, please keep the Ladies of Charity in mind.
The volunteer organization, which is affiliated with Catholic Charities, accepts donations of new or gently used clothing, footwear, purses and
bags; and household items such as small kitchen appliances, curtains and drapes, dishes and utensils and bed linens. Donations are used for the Ladies’ Lots of Clothes Thrift Store and for the Fresh Start program which provides basic household goods for those who have experienced home displacement for a variety of reasons.
Donations can be dropped off from 10:00am to 2:30pm weekdays at 1122 Broadway, Buffalo or from 10:00am to 1:30pm pm on the first Saturday of the month (excluding holiday weekends).

Have things to donate but live in Amherst and do not drive. If anyone could pick up items, I would be happy to contribute.
