It was great to wake up this morning and hear that Al Roker of the Today Show was in town to honor a 96-year-old volunteer, Daisy “Estelle” Anderson, at the Ladies of Charity on Broadway in the neighborhood. The Ladies of Charity is part of Catholic Charities. The organization does a lot of wonderful work for the east side of Buffalo and Western New York.
