  1. I read in an article that Christopher Byrd lived on Ashley, off of Mohr St. I was curious during which years, for I grew up in that neighborhood, (from 1965-1977), knew just about everyone in that area, & the name doesn’t ring a bell.

    1. Born in 1967, lived on Liddell Street for a few years, and then my parents bought house on Ashley in 1971…family was there through late 80s.

      1. Okay; that explains it. In 1967 I was 11 eleven years old then, virtually lived on 44 & Lincoln playgrounds. I lived @ Club Romway during my years on Broadway; we rented a flat there-upstairs in the back-not the owners of the bar. Liddell st./Super Saver; my Ma used to make me walk there to get their everyday special on milk-2-qts. for 47 cents; saved 3 cents since the milk machine on Schmarback was 25 cents/qt.I don’t do facebook, so I may bump into friends from our neighborhood in this venue. Thank you for writing my back. Alex
