Christmas 2016 at Saint John Kanty Church

Saint John Kanty Church is celebrating its 125th year through November 2017. Please consider celebrating Christmas at the church by attending one of its holiday Masses.

Christmas Eve

Koledy/Carols by St John Kanty Choir at 9:45 pm with Mass at 10:00 pm

In celebration of the birth of Christ, Mass with procession to the manger will be celebrated at 10 pm on December 24. At 9:45 pm the St John Kanty Choir, led by Mr Lawrence Maguda, will begin the celebration with the singing of traditional Polish Koledy. Celebrant for this Mass will be Fr Paul Sabo.

Christmas Day

Mass at 10:30 am

The Feast of the Nativity of Jesus is one of the most joyful days of the Church. It ranks next to the greatest holiday, the Resurrection of Jesus. The Feast of the Birth of Jesus is also known as the “Incarnation of Christ.” This means that Jesus became a man and came into the world to save us. We also refer to this joyous feast as Christmas. At 10:15 a..m. the St John Kanty Choir, led by Mr Lawrence Maguda, will begin the celebration with the singing of traditional Polish Koledy. Ccelebrant for this Mass will be Fr Robert Wozniak.
