Photos and Video: Buffalo Mass Mob XIV @ Saint Luke’s Mission of Mercy

Saint Luke’s Mission of Mercy is not only the caretaker of one of Buffalo’s beautiful historic churches. The mission is also a caretaker of people on Buffalo’s east side. This is what made Buffalo Mass Mob XIV at Saint Luke’s simply wonderful. It was hard not to be inspired this past Sunday by all the love going on at the mission.

The church was packed from front to back. People who came to the Mass brought a lot of donations to help the mission’s efforts. Buffalo Mass Mob has been bringing large crowds of people to various churches for Mass around the city to raise awareness about their historic significance and how vital they are to the urban fabric of Buffalo since 2013. If attendance this past Sunday is any indicator, the group introduced a lot of people to what Saint Luke’s Mission of Mercy is all about and how the mission is centered around the former Saint Luke’s R.C. Church which closed in 1993.

Here are some photos from Buffalo Mass Mob XIV taken by one of the groups organizers, Arthur Kogutowski,
