Saint John Kanty’s Team Pierogi is going strong halfway through lent.
From Saint John Kanty’s Facebook Page:
The ladies are hard at work several days a week making pierogi & placek. We sell cheese pierogi and sauerkraut pierogi frozen, in packages of 6. Cost is $8.00. Placek (coffeecake with crumb topping) are baked on Friday and usually sell out (cost: $5.00). Our large basket raffle, over 50, will take place on March 23, Palm Sunday, and a BBQ burger lunch will be avilable. Our items keep well in the freezer…sold Saturday 3-5 and Sunday 9:30-12 through Palm Sunday…COME ON DOWN!
Saint John Kanty is located at Broadway and Swinburne Street in Buffalo…pierogis, etc. are sold in the their former school’s cafeteria.
