I love seeing old photos of the neighborhood and its wonderful treasures.
Not everything in the neighborhood has withstood the test of time…a lot has been lost and a lot is on its way to being lost forever. That is why it is important to share photos like these. They visually illustrate the historic significance of what remains…how places like Saint Adalbert Basilica connect us to Buffalo’s past and must be saved and preserved to tell the story of the neighborhood and Buffalo.
