A huge crowd showed up for Saint Adalbert Basilica’s Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, Novemember, 2nd.
When I put together new ideas on how to inject some new life into neighborhood treasures like Saint Adalbert’s, I don’t know if they will work. As part of the group that started Buffalo Mass Mob along with Greg Witul, Danielle Huber and Alan Oberst, all of us were absolutely thrilled with the crowd that showed for the Mass on Saturday.
Saint Adalbert’s is important to the neighborhood. The world outside of the neighborhood needs to know that Broadway-Fillmore has these incredible places. On Saturday, a lot of new faces were introduced to church. That’s the whole goal of Buffalo Mass Mob. We want people recognize the importance of these incredible religious treasures that serve as link to Buffalo’s past past like few places can.
