Katy’s recent songs deal with real-life Polish heroes of WWII; a man who escaped Auschwitz dressed as a Nazi, a woman who sheltered a group of Jewish people, and a bear that delivered ammunition to Polish troops.

Katy sings about these historical characters in a modern way, and invites people of all generations to enjoy her performances.

Katy’s mom was born in Poland, while her father is English-Scottish. Katy sings in both English and Polish, and lives in London.

Her Buffalo performance will take place in the beautiful Montante Cultural Center, a hall converted from a historic church, at Canisius College.

Admission is $10, $5 for students.

The event is being organized by the Polish Legacy Project of Buffalo-WWII and The Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius College.
