David Franczyk wins primary for Fillmore District Council seat

David Franczyk will be returning the the council chambers at city hall come 01/01/2012 by defeating challenger Samuel A. Herbert by a tally of 874 to 561 in Tuesday night’s Democrat primary race.

When the general election comes along in November, he will run unopposed for the seat because he has the endorsements of the Republican, Conservative, Democrat and Working Families parties.

Franczyk first became the Fillmore District Councilman 1986 and has served as Common Council President since 2004.
