Had a great time at the Broadway Market yesterday morning along with a bunch of other volunteers washing windows and cleaning up in preparation of the Easter season. This was the second clean up in the last the month.
I am always amazed at how people will give up a Saturday morning to help out something they believe in.
There are variety of things I do to assist the Market, but my favorite times are spent like Saturday with other people who love the place similarly to how I do and helping out. Just listening to people talk about their connection to 999 Broadway in one form or another and sharing their Market stories and experiences is wonderful. It is a reminder to me as to why I do help out and why the Broadway Market is important for the neighborhood, Buffalo and Western New York.
