  1. The pussy willow is also used as a “palm” on Palm Sunday in countries where there are no palm trees. Fr. Krysa, of St. Casimir’s Oratory in Buffalo, for one, is encouraging those coming to church this Sunday to bring pussy willows to be blessed as palm branches.

  2. Jason,
The only disgrace to the Sabres’ organization are the players – i.e. the whole team – who are incapable of putting the puck into the opposing team’s net . . .

    1. Neil, congratulations and have fun playing with your pussywillows, you obviously know nothing about hockey. The Sabres are tied 2-2 in the series and have the only two shutouts. You’re an idiot. And what is the rest of your comment? Seeing that you have three periods at the end of your last I assume you have more to say. Tell me, did you even know Hockey games are played in three periods or didn’t they teach that in play school?

  3. Jason,
It’s quite an accomplishment to be tied 2-2 in a series. We’ve won as many games as we’ve lost – amazing. And, yes, as you correctly point out, Miller had shutouts in two of those games – games in which we only scored one goal in each. So, while Miller is not a disgrace, the rest of the club remains so. And as long as we’re celebrating the Sabres’ amazing accomplishments, let’s celebrate the fact that they are 14th out of 16 clubs in the “Goals For” category. Perhaps, little friend, you’re the one who needs to return to “play school.” Didn’t they teach you that it’s not polite to disrespect people. As far as I see it, to attack the nationality of a whole people in favor of a sports team is just ridiculous. It’s disrespectful to everyone here and it’s dispectful to Chris, who runs this site. I find it hard to believe and accept that your life is so pathetic, that this is all you have going for it . . . Sto Lat!

  4. The logo was done up in good fun with Dyngus Day in mind…if you don’t like it, fine…but a disgrace? Come on…lighten up dude.

  5. Chris, if you are selling shirts be careful about copyright laws. The Sabres are very protective about their logo and any use of it without going through proper licensing. I love the logo. Maybe you can sell the Sabres your idea.
