(By Christina Abt) It began in January with an email query to Am Pol Eagle Editor, Roger Puchalski. In it I asked if he would publish my interview with former Broadway Market Manager, Tom Kerr. Four months later, that singular interview request has evolved into a comprehensive newspaper series titled, Broadway Market at the Crossroads. It is the unedited perspective of 16 individuals strategically related to Buffalo’s endangered public market. It is also a snapshot in time that Puchalski has termed, “…the most comprehensive, well-rounded reporting on the Broadway Market at this critical juncture of its history.
