Dear Friends:
We are saddened to inform you that Father Antoni Lutostanski, retired priest of our diocese, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 in Florida.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, March 16 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Norbert Orlowski Funeral Home, 1456 Broadway, Buffalo.
Father Lutostanski will lie-in-state at St. John Kanty Church, Broadway & Swinburne Street, Buffalo on Thursday, March 17 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. concluding with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated by The Most Rev. Edward U. Kmiec on Friday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Kanty Church. Priests are invited to concelebrate and Deacons are invited to vest. Please bring alb and white stole.
Please remember the peaceful repose of Father Lutostanski’s soul in your Masses and prayers.

Notification of the death of Rev. Antoni Lutostański
Fr. Antoni Lutostański was born on June 10, 1934 in the village of Lutostań in the parish of Puchały.
He was ordained as a priest on December 26, 1958 in Łomźa by Bishop Czesław Falkowski. As a parish priest, he performed his priestly duties in the parishes of Sejny, Czerwin, Kolno, Grajewo and Myszyniec. He was a missionary in Brazil between the years 1971-1985. In 1985, he began his work as a priest in the U.S.A. in the Diocese of Buffalo with the approval of the Bishop of Łomża. In 1992, he was named pastor of a parish (St. John Kanty). He retired near the end of 2009.
Fr. Lutostański departed to our Lord on March 13, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will take place in Buffalo on March 18 at 12:00 (sic).
Remaining in contact with the participants of the funeral ceremonies in the U.S.A., we invite all to a Eucharistic Mass which will be offered in the intention of the late Rev. Antoni Lutostański in the Chapel of the Priests’ Community Home in Łomża on Friday, March 18 at 12 noon.
We commend the late Fr. Antoni Lutostański to Divine Mercy and ask that all priests and faithful of the Diocese for prayers in his intention.

Zawiadomienie o śmierci Księdza Antoniego Lutostańskiego
Ksiądz Antoni Lutostański urodził się 10 czerwca 1934 r. we wsi Lutostań w parafii Puchały. Wyświęcony na kapłana 26 grudnia 1958 r. w Łomży przez Biskupa Czesława Falkowskiego. Jako wikariusz pełnił posługę kapłańską w parafiach: Sejny, Czerwin, Kolno, Grajewo, Myszyniec. W latach 1971 – 1985 pełnił posługę misyjną w Brazylii. W roku 1985 za zgodą Biskupa Łomżyńskiego podjął pracę duszpasterską w USA w Diecezji Buffalo. W 1992 r. został mianowany proboszczem parafii w Buffalo. Pod koniec 2009 r. przeszedł na emeryturę. Odszedł do Pana w dniu 13 marca 2011 r. o godz. 21.30.
Uroczystości pogrzebowe odbędą się w Buffalo w piątek 18 marca br. o godz. 12.00. Trwając w łączności z uczestnikami uroczystości pogrzebowych w USA, w kaplicy Domu Wspólnoty Kapłańskiej w Łomży w piątek 18 marca o godz. 12.00 będzie sprawowana Eucharystia w intencji Śp. Księdza Antoniego Lutostańskiego, na którą zapraszamy. Śp. Księdza Antoniego Lutostańskiego polecamy Miłosierdziu Bożemu i prosimy kapłanów oraz diecezjan o modlitwę w Jego intencji.
