A biographical play on St. Maximilian Kolbe under the title Father Maximilian’s Cell, by Kazimierz Braun. The production of Father Maximilian’s Cell will be a full scale professional production in English language.
John Jacoby will perform the leading role of St. Maximilian. The production, with music by Michael Zachowicz, is directed by Mark F. Tattenbaum and produced by Dina Szymanski.
March 13, Sunday, 4:00 PM – Tickets ($10.00 general public and $5.00 students and children) are available at the door.
There will be a special introductory lecture by Father Dr. Piotr Cuber of Kraków, Director of “Knights of Mary” in Poland, who will especially come to Buffalo for this performance.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of St. Maximilian Kolbe martyr’s death in Auschwitz in 1941.
