I have been present at Corpus Christi in the last month or so to see two couples have their 50th wedding anniversary blessed at the church where they were married.
It is something that I find absolutely wonderful and part of why I came back to a church in B-F.
There is just something incredibly cool about going into a church in B-F and literally sitting in the same pews my ancestors did…places where they were baptized, made their first Communion, were married, etc.
It is a living history where I am an active part in preserving and help to keep ALIVE.
How nice that people do come back to the church they started out at, no matter where they now live.
This is exactly why I come back to CCC and why I support it. I can just imagine my babcie, as a baby, being baptized there by Fr. Justin. One can almost “feel” the presence of the communion of saints as a near-tangible reality when sitting in a church such as CCC.
