(By Mike Gilhooly – RTLC) Mass was held today at 11:00 am at St. Louis Church on Main St. in Buffalo to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Response to Love Center. In attendance were almost 100 Response to Love Center volunteers. The main celebrant was Most Rev. Edward Kmiec, co-celebrants Rev. Fr. Fred Betti from Canisus High School and the pastor of St. Louis Church Rev. Salvatore Manganello, hymns were sung a cappella by Sister Johnice.
During the homily the Bishop talked about the faith-filled mission and the fact that “prayers get answered at the Response to Love Center,” continuing he said, “It is a Power House of Prayer and that it is a testament to the success of the mission, thought up by a Felician Nun some 25 years ago.”
