BFA friend and BFNHS President Roxanne Chase passed this along to me today…it is a ticket from the old Rivoli Theatre at Broadway and Sweet for a 1973 performance of Blue Oyster Cult.

Cool…

The Rivoli was torn down in the early 1980s.

  1. This brings back memories. I saw Star Wars here when I was a kid with my family. It is a shame this place went the way of the wrecking ball.

    1. I was at that Blue Oyster Cult concert, the place was almost empty and they still played their hearts out!!! Awesome first album and one of their masterpieces!! BTW we got in for $2.75 at the door!!

  2. Blame the late Fillmore Council Member Steve Godzisz. He insisted that it be torn down, despite community protests. He lost to Dave Franczyk anyway…
