There was constant stream of people who came out to pay their respects to Russell Pawlak yesterday at the Terminal. It was more than fitting that his wake was held there because he is largely responsible for bringing new life to the building during his time as the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation’s President.
Everyone I spoke to had their own Russell story…all with the recurring theme of his love for the Terminal and how his love inspired others to get involved with the ongoing efforts to revitalize one of B-F’s treasures.
His funeral is today at 10 am at Saint John Kanty Church.
