Marty Biniasz and Eddy Dobosiewicz passed these photos along to me.

Two of are couple of things salvaged from the Polish Villa.  If you had every been inside or had seen pictures of the building, the distinctive woodwork and leaded glass which adorned the Village always stood out.  Eddy Dobosiewicz grabbed what he could of both.

The third picture is taken from the balcony of the Polish Singing Circle building which sits diagonally across from where the Polish Village is no more.  It is of Whitey Mazurek, member of the New Yorkers Polka Band. The band used to be the house band at the Village.  The album he is holding features a shot of the building and the band back in the day.

Marty and Eddy had a tribute to the Polish Village as part of their ongoing series of Fogotten Buffalo Tours.  They also made it to Dozynki with their group, but that’s another story.

Check out Forgotten Buffalo for other tours and a lot of great B-F & Polonia stuff.
