The Buffalo Mural Arts Program, which will hold a summer arts picnic Saturday on the sidewalk in front of the Broadway Market, invites residents to leave their mark by contributing to a mural inside the landmark.
“Faces of Broadway-Fillmore” also will feature food and raffle prizes.
The Buffalo Mural Arts Program is associated with the nonprofit BEST Community Association, whose mission includes preserving, revitalizing and beautifying the East Side.
The free event will run from noon to 2 p. m. Paint will be provided, but those wishing to participate in painting the mural are asked to donate $5.
