Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo on June 13th & 14th

Take part in the third largest Juneteenth celebration in the country at the Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo on June 13th & 14th. Enjoy a fun filled weekend for the whole family at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

The celebration begins with a community parade on Saturday, June 13th at 11am sharp. The parade begins at Genesee & Moselle Streets and proceeds down Genesee into Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The Juneteenth Festival commemorates the day Major General Gordon Granger of the Union Army rode into Galveston, Texas in final execution of the Emancipation Proclamation.

The Juneteenth Festival of Buffalo includes Main Entertainment Stage, Vendors, Health Pavilion, Book Fair, Free Underground Railroad Tours, Children Activities tent, Health Pavilion, Job Fair, African Drum and Dance lessons, a Heritage Tent and more.

Saturday Schedule:
Praise & Worship 9:00am – 11:00am
11:00am SHARP Parade
Followed by Festivities in Park until 8:00pm

Sunday Schedule:
Praise & Worship 10:00am – 12:00noon
Followed by Festivities in Park until 8:00pm
