As someone who works to help out various organizations in the neighborhood, I love it when I see things like the above. WBEN carried the live Easter Cam from the Market on their website. As you may or may not know, I design and manage the Market’s website and put up the Easter Cam. It is just cool to see my efforts in the things I do in the neighborhood have a real impact.
A lot of hard work and effort was put into trying to make Easter 2009 at the Market one of the best Easter seasons in a long time…from all indications, the crowds were larger this year…the vendors sales were up…I almost hate to see the seaon wind down!
The Broadway Market Task Force has been moving things forward at the Market ever since the transition back in November…the Christmas Fair was a huge success…Easter has been fantastic…there is a new energy in the air at 999 Broadway.
Being on the task force is a labor of love for me…I bet if you ask others on the TF, they would say the same. A lot of people are devoting their time and talents to ensure the future of the Market!
