Volunteers are welcome to join with community groups and nonprofit organizations for a spring cleanup of the Broadway-Fillmore business district from 9 a. m. to noon Saturday.
Workers will meet @ Peckham and Memorial Drive. The effort will conclude with a light lunch in the Broadway Market rear parking lot. Volunteers should bring rakes, shovels and gloves. For information, call Aniela Baj at 479-2342.
