WWII survivors, families commemorate All Souls Day

Close to 60 people gathered at the Polish veterans plot at St. Stanislaus Cemetery on All Souls Day this past Sunday. Led in prayer by Fr. Jerzy Maj and Fr. Czeslaw Krysa, parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren prayed for the souls of their family members who died during battle, in Nazi and Soviet camps or at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists. Also remembered were those who survived WWII and are now buried on American soil.
