The Broadway Market will hold its second annual Christmas Fair on Friday and Saturday when artisans and entrepreneurs will gather at the East Side landmark.
The market at 999 Broadway will have the aura of a European town square, said organizers. Merchants will sell everything from an array of edible delights, to handmade jewelry, Christmas decorations and toys.
In addition to the temporary holiday vendors, merchants who are at the market throughout the year will be selling their goods. Butcher shops will be offering special holiday Polish sausage with marjoram.
Santa Claus is scheduled to arrive at the market at 12:30 p. m. Friday. The festival will also include a large toy train display and free live entertainment.
The Christmas Fair will be held Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a. m. until 5 p. m.
