Sad news…the passing of Richard A. Michel owner of Dick’s East Side Inn

MICHEL – Richard A. October 13, 2008, of Buffalo, NY, dearest companion of Penny; husband of the late Helen (Sendlak) Michel; dear father of Madelyn (James DeSantis) Michel, Linda (Andrew) Kowalik; dear grandfather of Amanda Kowalik; brother of Dorothy (late Raymond) Wiggins; survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Friday, October 17 at 11:30 AM in the Marian Mausoleum of St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Rd., Cheektowaga. Please assemble at the chapel. No prior visitation. Mr. Michel was the owner of Dicks East Side Inn, WW II Veteran in the Marines, a life member of Post 45, a recipient of the Silver Helmet Award and Purple Heart. Arrangements by the BARRON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC.

  1. I never meet Mr. Michel but I am sure he was a great man. WW2 Marine. They do not make them like that any more. Semper Fi sir.
