The 16th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive will be held Saturday, when local letter carriers hope to collect 2.1 million pounds of non-perishable food from Western New Yorkers.
Last year, letter carriers in Western New York collected the most amount of food of any region in the country, for the fifth straight year.
All non-perishable food left near residents’ mailboxes will stay in Western New York, distributed through the Food Bank of WNY and local food pantries.
