We can use your help!
What would you do if or how would you feel if you and your family were displaced due to a fire or any other disaster where all of you belongings were lost and you had to start over; or if you just didn’t have the means to be able to buy these items?
This is what the Ladies of Charity see every day!
Through our “Fresh Start” program we are able to help these people out by providing them with gently used house hold items, such as bedding, curtains, pot & pans, utensils, towels, dishes etc….so they can get on with their lives. These are people who have found a place to live and have no curtains for their windows; or towels to dry with. We see many people who simply cannot afford to purchase these items.
We are asking organizations such as schools, scouts, and other groups to help us collect these items. Many students need to do community service to graduate from school; other groups teach civic responsibility to their members. To help those less fortunate.
Small children could collect bars of soaps or dish soap for our program. Older children can host a household drive to collect all the listed items.
