Polish Hill Pittsburgh, PA…meet Broadway-Fillmore Buffalo, NY…
Back in the late 1980s, I lived in Pittburgh, PA. while attending college…one of the most interesting people I met at the time lived in a part of Pittburgh called Polish Hill…a very cool place…the connection was natural…I am still friends with said person…a light bulb went off recently to start doing link exchanges with various organizations across the US which exist in a lot of ways like BFA…focusing in on the old Polish neighborhood aspect of things…
The obvious choice for me to start with is the Polish Hill Civic Association in Pittsburgh…I contacted the organization…they will like to us and we will to them…cool!
This type of networking can be beneficial from the simple aspect of seeing how various groups deal with similar challenges B-F faces.
It will be interesting to see what other types of communities I come across.
