(Glenn Gramigna 26.MAR.08) Marty Biniasz was a busy man Monday but also a very proud one. With his partner Eddy Dobosiewicz, he has increased the visibility of the Dyngus Day Parade and made Dyngus Day one of WNY a prominent ethnic observance, all in just a little over a year.
“We made a good start last year,” Biniasz said. “But, this year we were able to do much better because we were able to promote the Dyngus Day Parade on radio and in the newspapers thanks to the fact that we now have two corporate sponsors, Sobieski Vodka and Tyskie Polish Beer. This made it possible for us to let a lot more people know what we are doing.”
