One of my friends at work, Jenn, saw the article on BFA in Buffalo Rising Magazine last week. We talked for awhile about the area, about the terminal, the Broadway Market, the churches. As interested in my enthusiastic pitch about the area as she was, she was still reticent about actually going to the east side.
Well, to my surprise, she went to the market this weekend. When I asked her what she thought, her exact words were “Oh my God, I LOVED it!”. She went on to describe all the things she bought and that she is actually going back on Thursday, her day off, to get some more things she wants.
So, Jenn and her family are the most recent in a line of converts who formerly had reservations about visiting the many great assets of the Broadway Fillmore area. She says that next on her list is to visit the Central Terminal for an event or two this summer.

I am a 36yo woman. I go alone to the Broadway Market all the time – at least every other week – and I have never had any problem or concerns for my safety.
It was a nice article in Buffalo Rising by the way, but people should go to the Market just because of the wonderful food and people there. I love it!
