BFA has updated our site to include the complete “Intensive Level Historic Resources Survey of Broadway-Fillmore Neigborhood” completed by Clinton Brown Company Architecture completed in August 2004.  B-F was one of three Buffalo neighborhoods to have such a study done.

The survey can be accessed by clicking here and a permanent link is available on the left sidebar.

It is interesting to to take a peek at and look at a the numerous wonderful buildings and places…places that fit into our mission to help promote, preserve and revitalize the Broadway-Fillmore area.  But like other things that have faded away from the neighborhood and Buffalo, a lot of these places are at risk.  We are going to start calling attention to properties which are at serious risk.

You are all pretty much familiar with the series of videos/slideshows I do in conjuction with my weekly Sunday morning mass obligation in the neighborhood.  What I am going to do is start focusing some of these on places included in the survey…ones at risk or not.

HT the Landmark Society of the Niagara Frontier for getting this important resource up online.
