Buffalo is indomitable, unmistakably destined for a future as authentic as its past. Any place that holds the hearts of its former residents with such fervor is bound for glory again.
The column is a reminder to all of us here in Buffalo as to what a truly special and unique place we have and what the future can be for us.
Buffalo has a soul…a part of which people who move away take a piece of…a soul that keeps a lot of people who move here here.
We need to celebrate who we are more and what we have here. We don’t need to be like Charlotte, Boston, Chicago, Phoenix, Erie or Walla Walla…we just need to realize what we have here is authentic…real….and stop trying to be something what we are not.
