Lockport Memorial Hospital is in a contest to win an MRI machine valued at about $1million from Siemens Medical Solutions. They are the only WNY hospital competing with about 35 other hospitals across the country.
The winner will be determined by who has the most online votes. The contest started Monday and runs through Dec 31st.

Select “Lockport Memorial Hospital” (The 1st time you go online you have to watch a couple minute “spoof” video produced by employees of the hospital before you can vote. After the 1st time, you don’t have to watch the entire video, you can just vote right away) You don’t have to fill anything out, just click “vote”. You are allowed to vote once per day / per computer.
As of this morning, Lockport Memorial has about 5,300 votes. Only 100 votes more than a hospital from Missouri.
Employees at the hospital are very excited about the opportunity to win this machine and say it would help them considerably. If you could take a moment to vote I know they would greatly appreciate it!
Oh come on, guys, vote. Lockport is in 2nd place! Sumter Regional of Americus, Georgia is winning by a landslide! Why? Because they get together and say they’re going to win that MRI!
