Prayer Vigil Held at St. Adalbert’s

Members of several Buffalo parishes – including St. Adalbert’s, St. John Kanty’s, Corpus Christi, St. Ann’s, and SS. Rita & Patrick – participated in a Prayer Vigil at St. Adalbert’s Basilica on Saturday to pray for all those affected by the church closings in the Diocese of Buffalo.

On Sunday, Tim Tielman and Paul McDonnell led an autobus tour of Buffalo’s Endangered Churches, sponsored by the Campaign for Greater Buffalo History, Architecture, and Culture, which included many city churches slated for closure.  The Endangered Churches tour will also run on Saturday, Sept. 22.  Further information is available at: http://www.openairbuffalo.org/.
