Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, has introduced legislation establishing a housing demolition grant program aimed at vacant, dilapidated housing, his office announced.
The Neighborhood Reclamation and Revitalization Act of 2007 would help pave the way for development and neighborhood revitalization, Higgins said in a statement. It would also give municipalities the opportunity to study how to better use vacant land.
