
If you haven’t heard of Buffalo ReUse, let me fill you in.
They deconstruct homes…
Deconstruction is the careful disassembly of an entire structure. We take the building apart in the opposite order to the way it was built. We can then remove and reuse the building materials including lumber, fixtures, and architectural detail. What we can’t reuse, we recycle. The remaining material goes into the landfill in much smaller amounts than with demolition.
They are going to be moving in this weekend @ 1105 Broadway into a complex that will house materials they have salvaged plus open up a store to sell the material.
Buffalo ReUSE grew out of their original location on Ellicott Street.
