Broadway Fillmore Alive: Empty

I have written this before and I will probably write it again…the vacant and abandoned housing problem should be priority one on the city’s list of problems to remedy…another thing I have written about before and will most likely write about again is how I drive or walk around the streets I grew up on in B-F and I am absolutely saddened by what I see…it is like I walked into some type of nightmare…I fully understand that time changes everything…but this is beyond change…it is sureal and it blows my mind…a lot of the homes you will see in the montage above are places where my friends or family lived…I am also amazed at how the streetscape has changed in such a short period of time…this points to how critical stopping what is going on with vacant or abandoned homes is…I also think it is critical to post the good and the bad from B-F…people need to see the reality of it all…the video is centered around Grimes and Milburn Streets.
