What a wonderful performance by “Oratorium” on Saturday at Corpus Christi…they sang gospel songs in both English and Polish…the above video of the song “May God Bless You” is a glimpse at their combined talents…
The performing vocal and instrumental group, Oratorium, has gained international acclaim since its creation in 1975 by Father Lech Gralak (M.A.) from St. Philip Neri Oratory Congregation in Inowroclaw Poland. In 1986 Oratorium participated in the Holy Mass celebrated by Pope John Paul II. The group has toured more than twenty times, in Germany, France, Belgium, Lithuania, Bielorus, the USA and Canada. Oratorium evokes unique experiences and eager expectations for the next visit.

I had the opportunity to speak with a woman from Chicago before the show…I didn’t get her name, but she first visited Corpus Christi last year and she couldn’t wait to visit the church again this year…she is an awe of the beauty of the church and faith that exists amongst the dedicated group of parishioners at Corpus Christi…I couldn’t agree with her more…it is when I hear comments like hers that inspires me to keep doing what I am doing…Broadway-Fillmore is ALIVE…
