Alicia Meyers will join host Sandy Starks as a guest chef at the ongoing Savor the Flavor cooking demonstrations and tastings at the Broadway Market. Meyers is the former owner of the “Cooking for All Seasons” school in Williamsville. She currently caters at local art show openings.

During the warm summer months, Americans’ normally hectic lifestyles often go into “overdrive” as we juggle a non-stop cavalcade of outdoor fun with Little League sports, graduations, family reunions, and much more. Mealtime can be reduced to a hot dog or hamburger on the run. As an alternative, the Broadway Market will provide some easy recipes that are also nutritious and delicious!

The June 16th tasting will include Chicken Diablo, Tea Leaf Eggs, Salad Nicoise, Potato Salad (made without mayonnaise), and Lemon Pecan Squares. Cupcakes from Market vendor Melanie’s Sweets will also be featured. Prepaid reservations are required and the price of $11 per person includes samples of each dish, plus take-home recipe cards for each featured item.
