I just got back from spending a couple hours (12 AM – 2 AM) at Corpus Christi doing my volunteer bit for the forty hours devotion with Eucharistic adoration which started on Friday at 9 PM.
Parishioners volunteered to man/woman the church during the entire forty hours…all the hours were filled…pretty cool…the church was/is open for the entire adoration.
I snapped the above photo before I left at 2 AM.
In my time there this morning, about 20 or so people made there way to Corpus Christi for this very holy event….considering the hours I was there it was impressive and amazing.
It all culminates today with the traditonal Corpus Christi procession between Saint Stan’s and Corpus Christi at 3 PM.
