It seems that everytime a press release comes through to me for an event in B-F it always closes with “secure parking is available”…this really bothers me.
Reading such feels like we are telling folks that it is wonderful to come down to the great things happening in neighborhood but only if they are provided with secure parking.
Doesn’t this perpetuate the idea that unless one is provided with a secure system of parking, it is generally unsafe to come to B-F?
Maybe I am just living in la la land…
Perception is everything…is it really that unsafe in B-F that we need to remind people we have “safe parking” for neighborhood functions in the press releases or announcements that are published to promote events?
