About 100 people took part in the May crowning ceremony of the Virgin Mary at Corpus Christi Church on Sunday May 6.
The ceremony took place at a statue situated outdoors in the garden in front of the monastery on Clark St.
A procession led by Pauline Fathers Anzelm and Zbigniew along with Brother Peter, altar boys and children strewing flowers and parishioners from the church to the statue of Mary following the 10am Polish language Mass.
There, the age-old Litany of Our Lady of Loretto (Litania Loreta?ska do Naj?wi?tszej Maryi Panny) that was recited by our forebearers in Poland and in Polish parishes in the U.S. was sung and a crown was placed on the statue of Mary by Andrea Jeski dressed in Polish folk costume.

Within the Catholic church month of May is devoted to Mary, the mother of Christ. Marian devotions at Corpus Christi Church will be held every day at 11:30 am.
