Celebrating the Polish Constitution at Mickie’s

Andy Golebiowski and Adam Mickiewicz Library put on a celebration tonight honoring the ratification of the Polish Constitution on May 3, 1791.

Over the last 20 years the date has seen celebrations in Poland and Polish American communities grow.

The following is an interview with Andy at Mickie’s tonight about the event and the history of the Polish constitution. It also marks something new we are going to do with BFA…offer audio podcasts from events and interviews with people who help make B-F a great place…thanks to Andy for spending a few minutes with me…Andy is great guy who believes in B-F and works to make it better.

I’ve written it before and I will write it again…the Broadway-Fillmore area is alive…it is the little things like this event that will grow into bigger things for the neighborhood.
