Hi Friends,
Please join me this Thursday, May 3 to celebrate Polish Constitution Day at the Adam Mickiewicz Library on Fillmore.
The Constitution of May 3 was the second democratic constitution ratified (after the U.S.) in the world and the first in Europe in 1791.
This holiday used to be celebrated in a big way locally and still is in Chicago with a huge parade.
So, let’s at least raise a toast of Polish beer or cordial this Thursday starting at 6pm.
We can celebrate this past year’s successes (Dyngus Day Parade, etc.) and let each other know what we’re working on in Polonia and in Broadway-Fillmore, and above all, have a good time.

PS. If you’ve never been, AML is located at 612 Fillmore Ave. between Broadway and Paderewski. You’ll see a Polish flag waving at the front door.
