The celebration starts tonight at 5pm, with the parade starting at the Broadway Market and ending at the Central Terminal. Pussywillows will be on sale at the terminal, as will Flying Bison’s special Dyngus Day beer, food by Ulrich’s Bistro Europa and the K Sisters.
The C.T.R.C. Building Committee has been hard at work this chilly winter preparing the restaurant for use for this event. It is the first time in more than 20 years that this room is illuminated and open to the public. They have also been busy hanging vintage Broadway Market signs in the room. It looks fantastic!
It will be the location of warming stations, as there is no heat in the building and it’s pretty chilly inside. Dress warmly so you can remain comfortable until the polka dancing, food and beer warms your insides.
Come on out and enjoy a wonderful local ethnic tradition. I guarantee you’ll have a lot of fun!
