I had the opportunity to chat with Melanie today at the Broadway Market for a few minutes. Melanie’s Sweets moved back to the Market as a permanent tenant recently. They left in 2000.
Though she has other stores, she enjoys working in the Broadway Market the most. She likes the atmosphere, the people and the tradition. I am paraphrasing, but she said there is just something special about the Market that drew her back.
When Melanie’s Sweets left in 2000, they still maintained a presence at the Market during holiday season as a temporary vendor.
Melanie we are glad that you are BACK!
Stop in a check out her stand. She has sweets, sweets and more sweets, everything from cakes to cookies to ice cream to slushies.
