In the Buffalo diocese, where most clerics are near retirement age, 31-year-old Rev. Jacek P. Mazur represents the future of the Catholic priesthood.
Problem is, the diocese had to go halfway around the globe to find him.
Mazur came to Western New York in 2004, convinced he’s needed more here than in his native Poland.
“Poland is very rich in vocations,” he said. “That’s a gift that has to be shared with the world.”
