As per Michele’s request in a comment to my last post, here is a 1940’s photograph of the then-thriving Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church. Minus the current overgrowth of trees and shrubs surrounding the building, this photo can really make you appreciate the extremely tall steeple on this magnificent building!
I haven’t been able to find any interior photos, other than those showing its current state, and those are far too sad for me to want to share here.
Hi: Can you resend the link to these photos & do you know the actual address of Transfiguration Church (863 Sycamore ?) or the address of the school.
